“Kerala Co-operative Pensioners’ Organization (KCPO)” is a union of retired employees of co-operative institutions in Kerala which has come in to its action with effect from 14th February, 2014. The inauguration of Kerala Co-operative Pensioners’ Organization KCPO was made by Sri.P.K.Kunhalikkutty, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and IT, Government of Kerala on those days at PMSA Pookkoya Thanghal Soudam, Malappuram. Presidential address was by Sri.P.Ubaidulla, MLA, Malappuram. The publication of its Byelaw was made in the inaugural function on the same day by Sri. K.P.A. Majeed, State General Secretary, Indian Union MuslimLeague. In the function Sri.P. Abdul Hameed, who is the District General Secretary, Indian Union Muslim League for Malappuram District and the Executive Member in the Board of the Kerala State Co- Operative Bank Ltd, initiated the membership campaign in the function. Many eminent personalities of the trade union sector were present in the function and witnessed for the remarkable occasion. With the formation of Kerala Co-operative Pensioners’ Organization (KCPO), a new era of its kind has been begun. Kerala Co-operative Pensioners’ Organization (KCPO) is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, vide Reg. No. mpm/ca/2043/2014. Its main objective is the betterment and welfare of the pensioners who retire from the Co - Operative institutions all over in the State of Kerala. It is also working for the protection as well as enforcement of the rights of its members.
