He was an employee of the Kuzhimanna Service Co-operative Bank Ltd. during the period from 05.03.1981 to 31.05.2012, who retired from the post of its Secretary. He was also the President of the Co-operative Employees Organization (CEO) for Malappuram District for a long 10 consecutive years till his retirement.
